ParcLife is part of a 15-year vision to breathe new life into the Craigmillar area of Edinburgh. More than 3,000 new homes will be at its heart - built to the highest quality using innovative and fresh-thinking design.

This will be supported by a major investment programme creating a safe and enjoyable place to live, work and visit. This includes:
-
A new town centre with shops, community and leisure facilities.
-
New primary schools (now complete), a new community high school and library.
-
150-acres of surrounding green space transformed into a network of parks, river walkways, open woodland and play areas.
-
Improved public transport links, making it easier to travel in and out of the city centre, and to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
-
More jobs and business opportunities.
The investment programme is led by PARC - a partnership between the City of Edinburgh Council, developers EDI Group and the local community - and is supported by the Scottish Executive.
